Kentucky Dave Trabue is a singer's singer who loves harmonies mixed with solid acoustic backings. Dave sings and plays 6- and 12-string guitar, Dobro, mandolin, lap steel, pedal steel and bass. He began his professional musical career at fourteen. Dave skillfully delivers old-school to contemporary tunes, Roy Rogers to Roy Orbison to Rodney Crowell. His award winning songs are camp to poignant, topical to tongue-in-cheek, and have included Civil War and ancestral history.
MaryAnn (Mare) brings her warm alto to leads and harmonies. Songwriting pairs her love of words with music; her songs are bawdy and tender, salacious and saudade. She is a certified therapeutic musician, and a student of mandolin and doghouse bass. MaryAnn was born in California in the 1900s.
Born and raised at bluegrass festivals in and around Cincinnati, OH, Matt has been a regular on the bluegrass scene in Northern California since arriving in 1997. Playing acoustic guitar and stand-up bass, he's one of the biggest players out there (literally, coming in a 6'5") in his pursuing his lifelong dream of world domination via acoustic music. The progress is slow but the ride is fun.
Phil Bearce is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter whose blend of rock, jazz, blues, country and bluegrass music has created a signature sound that frames the past thirty years of his musical career. Phil writes introspective lyrics, and composes lovely melodies that reflect his heart and feelings.
